What does this money go towards?
The project is to raise money to print 15,000 copies of the Nigerian Pidgin Bible.
How much money is needed to reach the goal?
$67,815.20 (new number tbd)
What stage is the project at?
The Bibles are ready to be printed in Korea and shipped to Nigeria as soon as the funds are raised.
When do we want to publish the Bible?
The work is completed, only printing remains to be done as soon as funds are available. If funds were available quickly, we could dedicate the Bibles in Nigeria at Easter time, 2022.
Why are we doing this project?
We believe that this Bible will be very strategic for the growth, nurture, and comfort of the Nigerian church. It was ready for printing in 2019, but it has been extremely difficult to raise funds for it in our standard ways. Many factors, including the economy, team ill health, and COVID-19 have contributed to the difficulties and that is why we are looking for new ways to fund this Bible.
